You will learn tons by typing the various acronymns into GOOGLE or YAHOO.
In a nutshell, TURP is "ROTO-ROOTER" of the prostate and purposefully cuts
away at the prostate, TUMT uses microwaves to do that, and PVP uses laser to
burn a tunnel through the prostate. If you can, and if it makes sense for
your prostate, opt for a PVP. Recovery is very quick. More and more
surgeons are jumping aboard PVP. Still some prostates need to be seriously
reduced and that may requie a TURP.
