Why do I dislike these companies? In the insert I quote:" A study
examining the effect of timing of a meal on the bioavailability of
alendronate was performed in 49 postmenopausal women. . . . . . ." The
insert is for 70mg. The study is done on 10mg. Don't they have enough
money to repeat the study on about 500 women, and use the 70 mg? I don't
want to read any more of that insert, but whatever there is should be clear.
That insert is not clear. Also how do you study a live person's bone to see
what the dose of a product is doing and if it is doing it within 30 minutes
instead of an hour? Let's see, if they studied 49 women, then half should
be the control group. Therefore 25 had the med, and 25 didn't. Of the 25
being really tested, what were they doing - were they sitting, walking,
smoking, etc. Post menopausal could be from ages 50 - 100. This is very
silly. I am missing something here.
