As far as I know there are different materials involved: Stainless
steel (1.4441) because of its very good corrosion resitance. Ceramics
(as I know mainly alumina, Al2O3) because of its good tribological
properties (no wear).
properties of alumina you do find on the homepage of differnet material
suppliers like: morgan ceramics, metoxit, ceramtech.
