English-Russian translators: mutual help (skype, msn messenger)

Hi all,
As a translator, I am working on different projects in Russian and
English.
and sometimes have questions as to usage of English words and slang.
Russian is my native tongue, so when I am writing in English I can
make sence, but
lack some style and do not sound "authentic". Same goes to English
and American translators who try to write in Russian.
I just thought Internet can be very effective and there are other
Russian-English translators out there who speak English fluently as
their first language.
What a releif it could be to find some buddies who are same way
passionate about the language and reading and help each other in chats
or Skype, MSN Messenger... whatever- at least read our texts before
sending to customers if we have time - of course not to the detriment
of common sense and career :)

For example, here is an excerpt from translation of one subtitle (like
do-it-yourself pogram for little things, I think). Is there anything
what strikes the eye of the British or American or irritates
somehow? :)

-Hello everyone who doesn't like to be bored! We are in the little
room of wonders. My name is Natasha.
I'm going to show you how to make funny and interesting toys using the
old thrum (unnecessaries).
Today in our program you will learn how to ...
-Wait, Natasha! Don't start without me! Hi guys, I am Misha the First,
king of frazzled shreds and forgotten knickknacks. Prince of the
Kingdom of empty tin-cans and missing buttons!
-Well, guys, today you are going to learn how to...
-Oh, I know, today they going to learn how beautiful you are!
-Tut, Misha, why do you always interr... Oh, you really liked my suit?
- es, shall we call you Miss Pink today?
-Yes, because it is my Birthday today. And you didn't even
congratulate me!
- Wait! Ok, now! Just so! Congratulations! There now.
-Oh, Misha, are they for me then? Thank you, Misha! But we need a bowl
to put them in!
What if we try to make it ourselves?
-To make the "Rice bowl" we need a glass jar, rice, silver ink and
glue with spangles.
- First we take the jar and cover it with plasticine.
- This is the way we do it.
-Help me, Misha!
-With pleasure! Here, take it! I have already made the plasticine
soft like this.
Now you will find it easier to stick it on the jar.
-Thank you!
-So what we are going to have in the end is some sort of plasticine
bowl?
-Of course not, Misha!
-Everything will stick to it! And what if flowers would stick to it
too?
-Again you didn't understand anything! We have not finished it yet!
Wait! Let us cover it all over!
-Here., take it, I kneaded some more for you. Now stick it on!
-Thank you!
- Yes, Like this.

thanks,
Rus
