I know the meaning of "screw" and "The twist" separately ...
what I don't get is the connection between them, what the father meant by
"screw" in the sentence
'Peggy Sue really likes to screw; she'll screw all night if we let her!'

Couldn't it be that the father got the words mixed up because both "to
screw" and "to twist" involve turning something.
