AFAIU he question pertained to a common noun rather than to what one
tends to blurt out when in sudden pain (an interjection).

I propose the following Polish words:
blad, glupota or pomylka; depending on the register, of course.
the whole sentence could therefore read, in one of the possible forms:
Zrobilem straszna glupote / straszny blad. Popelnilem straszna pomylke.

The KM proposed by you never could or would be used in such context.
