Hello,
I'm translating a game in which the little girls can give virtual
manucures
to their dolls.
To choose the nail length, the little girl is given three choices:
--Short 16
--Medium 16
--Long
What do "short 16" and "medium 16" mean?
Thanks a lot in advance!
A wild shot. Could these numbers be quantities rather than sizes or
lengths? Granted, 16 is a strange number -- 10 for the hands of a doll and
6 spares?
JM:
Stabs are good. I agree with your feeling the count is odd if it is that.
If there were a comma after the classification and the number
or if the number came first, count would be a more possible categorization.
Although it seems a typo, I just noticed there was no number
after "Long" but I cannot assign that a predictive significance.
By the way, I lament the intermission of your Friday witticisms and hope
that
gives you future encouragement.
Regards,
Edward Hennessey
.
