Good choice. Since it hasn't been covered, I believe the reason
that
grandmother's expertly sucked eggs was that was the only way they
could eat them in the days before dentures. My recollection is
that "eggs"
in Spanish and French often have a testicular reference of use in
double
entendres. Though we will agree that almost anything can have a
lecherous interpretation to an obsessed mind in any language,
those which "eggs" have in English are almost wholly female.
Balls, rocks,
pellets and stones are among the terms of art for testes. It must
be
acknowledged that when cartoon characters are hit they often emit
a speech balloon containing something which phonetically sounds
like "Oeuf!". When a fellow is hit in his sensitive area during
sports in real life, coaches always instruct the afflicted "Hold
your head!" in order to deny specatators additional amusement.
