No wonder when you use such a newsreader surrogate. If you continue
to use this would-be newsreader, you need to select

Tools > Options > Send
Mail Sending Format > Plain Text Settings > Message format MIME
News Sending Format > Plain Text Settings > Message format MIME
Encode text using: None
