Did anyone watch the two parter on TV; 10.5?

Watching the 1st one, and the initial part of the second, I found was
alternately laughing and complaining about the lack of reality.
Then, in a local Sunday paper, was a mention of a letter the Exec
Producer had sent out prior to the sequel explaining it was _meant_ to
have laughable dialog and 'great' FX.
In other words we are to sit back and enjoy the ride, not stress out
over the factual errors.
Taken in that context I'm somewhat sorry I missed the second half on
Tuesday night.
