Does anyone know of a fault line in this area?
There is often a circular definition for earthquake faults:
Its a mapped lineation of earthquakes. If one is lucky
a geologist may have observed the ground break of a fault
or in a geophysical survey. Besides only a tiny fraction of
observed geologic faults are seismically active. I saw several
geologic faults in the Grand Canyon last week which may not
have moved in millions of years.
