Earthquakes are one the most hazardous events in the nature. Science
has not been able to find the way to predict these cathastrophic events
so far. Here are some statistical information about the deaths from
Earthquakes:
Estimated deaths from earthquakes in 2004 : 284,012
Estimated deaths from earthquakes in 2003 : 33,819
Estimated deaths from earthquakes in 2002 : 1,685
Estimated deaths from earthquakes in 2001 : 21,357
The target of our research program is to prove earthquakes can be
forecasted and thus save lives. In our

departments which will study the relation between atmosphere and
lithosphere.
As a basic knowledge, we will study in our laboratory the chemical and
physical components of some earthquake clouds. We will observe those
clouds from the ground, from any fault line (especially Sea of
Marmara-Istanbul, India and China) and when we recognize them we will
obtain some samples via our small planes which will be equipped with
necessary instruments. In the mean time we will investigate the changes
of the seismo-electromagnetic area from where those clouds occurred.
Than, we will study very carefully the relation of both (lower clouds
and seismo-magnetic area) with lithosphere and its movement before,
during and after earthquakes. We will check the underground movements,
changes (crusty deformation, hydro-chemistry, ground-water level,
ground resistivity, gravity, stress/strain, animal behavior, energy
accumulation rate, seismic gap, foreshocks, thermal build-up etc) to
answer the following questions: how, where, when, why those clouds
occur...
