Altering projection of a whole earth raster image

I have 36 earth timezone images in miller cylindrical projection 90n to
60s (they took me 50+ hours to create). The images are raster format
not vector.

I need to convert them to equi-rectangular projectoin (geographic,
lat-lon; Spheroid: WGS84).

What software is available to do this on winXP.

I dont have arc-view or map-info or matlab mapping toobox. I dont have
much gis experience and I run winXP.

I have tried grass but it wouldnt run on my machiene.

Any recomendations are appreciated.
