Schematic Question

Hi all. First post to this group and I hope this is the right place.
Maybe someone can answer my question or at least point me in the right
direction.
In 1992 I lived in Thailand and while there I bought a Sony TV model
KV2966MW. This thing is great as it plays all color schemes and all
electrical voltages. I brought it back with me when I relocated back
to the USA in 1997 and up until last summer had absolutely no problems
with it.
It then started going bad (picture looked like an hour glass). I got
a repair shop to come and get it. I even provided some schematics I
found on a Chinese web site for it. However, after a few weeks, the
technician called to say the schematics were not only hard to read
(due to the format they had been made in) but didn't have enough
information to allow them to try and repair my TV set.
They had contact Sony but, as is the case with many multi-national
companies, what happens with Sony Asia is unknown to Sony USA and vice
versa.
So, to make a much to long post a little shorter, I'm trying to find a
way to get proper schematics for the TV set. Any one have any clues
they can pass my way?
Thanks.
