Survey Industry Question (Math)

I'm thinking of starting a new career as a land surveyor, and I have a
question on the math. What area(s) and level of math is required starting
out in the industry/school. I can't seem to get ahold of anyone at the
college to get an answer. I'm located in Canada if that makes a difference.

Thanks, Gordon
