The T2 is an excellent gun, very accurate.
Sorry I don't have the Kurta, I still have my well worn copy of "Route
Surveying" (by Pickels & Wiley?)
I occaisionally see the Kurta on Ebay for mega bucks. I recall a
desktop cranker as well which operated like the Kurta,I think it was
made by Facit.
I remember lining up to shell out $300 for the "revolutionary"
programmable HP25, wow no more trig tables. It's sitting in a closet
somewhere.
I can't imagine what surveying will be like 30 years from now
considering all the changes in the past 30 years.
