I try to read the new posts and I get more than 500 that has nothing
to do with the usual contents of the group.
Can anyone do something to avoid this or is there any other place
where one can find the old users of this group?

Some idiot decided to flood the group with spam in revenge against an
innocent third party, trying to frame them for a senseless act of
spamming (actually sporging). It actually has nothing at all to do
with us. We're still here, basically trying to weather the storm and
hoping it will subside and get back on to discussions of lighting
design.
Vic, Terry, Ken, Ioannis and other regulars are still involved in
threads.
Let's hope it bounces back soon.
Thomas.
