Concur with NT that in general dimming will extend lamp life
considerably with one lookout, tungsten halogen lamps need to be
operated at full on a regular basis to alllow the halogen cycle to
work, otherwise get blackening of the lamp wall, program in a
`cleaners` full up at some appropriate time of day.
