Naw. If someone can't figure out I'm being sarcastic without a helpful

It doesn't even do that. All it means is:

1) The Procedure, whatever it be, is documented. It matters not a jot if
the Procedure is for a trained gorilla to sit on a barstool at the end of
the production line, eating bananas and picking his nose and listening to
Brandenburg Concerti -- AS LONG AS IT'S DOCUMENTED.

2) The company has paid for ISO certification. That's the really important
part, 'cause it provides a steady stream of feedstock for the whole
racket: as soon as everyone's paid for ISO nine-thousand-and-whatever
version 1.0 rev A, along comes version 1.0.2 rev B. Of course
*everybody's* got to ante up for that, 'cause idiot marketeers behave as
though ISO 900x means something, and idiot purchasers believe them, which
causes them to draw up new policies saying they only buy from companies
certified to the latest version of ISO 900x. It's an endless circle of
voluntary self-extortion.

3) The MBAs, by busying themselves with ISO 900x nonsense, get to keep
themselves distant from any actual knowledge of the goods or services
their company provides, which suits them just fine, 'cause they consider
such knowledge WELL beneath their station in life. Product knowledge is
for icky blue-collar types, don'tchyaknow.
