Thanks for the thoughts. Looks like I will go with the 140. Best buy for me
will be Lowes. One question. It looks like the regulator can only be used
with mix gas or pure argon. It this true?

I bought it from Lowe's about 3 weeks ago. I'm very satisfied so far.
It's smooth, lays down a nice bead, and is doing everything I wanted.
I haven't sprung for gas yet so I can't comment on its MIG
capabilities, but the flux core works like a charm and doesn't leave
too much splatter for the work I'm doing - everything from about 14
gauge to 1/4" so far (not single pass on the heavier stuff). Based on
what I've heard/learned, you'll prolly need the gas/MIG capability if
you're talking about body work, as the settings chart on the door of
the unit indicates MIG for the thinner metal stock.
