using 'black' pipe for building projects???

I think building a cart for the OA rig is a priority.
Have notice several DIY cart projects.

None seem to take advantage of the 'black' pipe I see used for moving
natural gas around the house.

Is it more expensive than an equal length of steel tubing or
angle-iron? Harder to work with? - Mike
