Re: Color matching

Hi SR,

First it would be good to know the Native State of the displays you are trying to match. We might as well do this on the forum so we all understand the issue.

Please Measure and report the Yxy values for the Full scale White, Red, Green, and Blue colors as presented on your displays: Reference Display and the Display you wish to alter: Test Display.

Also please post the Yxy values for Grey levels 255, 192, 127, and 31 for each display.

Please also answer the following questions:

1. What instrument are you using to make the measurements?

2. Do the display luminances have to match after you have calibrated the Test Display? If the answer is yes, then there may not be a solution.

3. As I understand your question, you want the displays to show the same color when presented with the same RGB values?

4. You would also like a way to change the display characteristic to go to a different color temperature, maintaining the same gamma characteristic. Is that correct?

Regards,
Tom
