Thank's for going over my calculations.
In the XYZ to Lab conversion. Probably your conversion formula is using
wrong/unspecified definition of white, should be D50 white for CIE_Lab.
D50 represents the reference white for surface colors. But what about
aperture colors? As in the case of a self-luminous display, does the monitor
white point becomes the reference white for XYZ -> Lab conversion?
