I've got a 4 independent channel charger for $20 from harbor freight that seems
to work quite well. It handles 1-4 AAA-D sizes plus 9V NiCd and NIMH
(it does NOT do alkaline, but who cares these days....).

How smart is this? I have some cells that don't seem to have the
capacity of other cells in a batch.
Since I have a HF store near me, I'll scope it out.

hi,
I've got some new AAA rechargables from Energizer,
and i'm not happy with my current, very old, charger.
The charge seems weak,
although i will need to charge them a few more times,
to be sure i'm not charging them incorrectly.
The only 2 options are Alkaline & Nickle Cadmium,
and these are a newer type, i believe
Can someone recommend a charger for these
"latest" technology 900 mAh batteries?
thanks
