TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR PRIMATE ETHOLOGY FIELD ASSISTANT

Dear friends,
We are sending you information about the next TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR
PRIMATE ETHOLOGY FIELD ASSISTANT that Mona Foundation will impart from
the next month of January 2008, in its Primate Rescue Center of
Riudellots de la Selva (Girona - Spain).
The programme of training it is intended to give to the assistants the
necessary tools for work like field assistant in primate behavioural
research.
The training lasts 6 months and is fundamentally practical, with a
total of 500 teaching hours distributed in a minimum of 3 days per
week. The pupils will participate in real projects of research and
will learn to design and make their own projects in the study of non-
human primate behaviour.
The deadline for applications for the first semester will be 15th
October 2007. A selection will be carried out of all applicants to
choose those who best fit the requirements.
The training will be offered in Spanish, Catalan and English.
