Some thought on this gave three alternatives:
1) The tablet is a modern fake
2) The language, alphebet is an middle eastern/Mediterranean
version of the Greek linear B ( like the Celtic Ogham was)
3) It is an entirely intependent discovery of an alphebetic language

In order of probability 1) >2) >3)...

Historically, most written languages have been transmitted by contact
with a culture who already has a written language.
