Lots of WB stuff doesn't flow out the same as oil based as it dries
very quickly. Thinning can can be the kiss of death for some WB
products. Without a specific product mentioned, general comments
are tough.
He asked about floor products. They are customarily wiped on with a
mohair applicator. IME, they don't dry all that fast either.
