I have, but they make it clear that they are under a lot of pressure
right now (no doubt) and are not answering individual email. I don't
want to put any pressure on the staff that are working in difficult
conditions so I'm looking for a direct line.

I have a call in to Knight-Ridder's corporate office which will
hopefully get me the contact info I'm looking for, but it never hurts
to ask on other channels.
