Don't post often, but thought this was worth sharing. Received the
following reply to my board ad on iWindsurf.com. Pretty clear this
person is trying to scam me as the condition, price and location of
the board are clearly stated. Almost replied, but then came to my
senses :-)
That said, if you're in a shopping mood the board is an essentially
new HiFly Free 259 offered for $575 including three fins and a DaKine

Notice how non-specific the reply is. If you advertise anything on craigslist you'll get those too. I got one *immediately* for a bedroom set I advertised there. The 'buyer' wanted to have his 'agent' deliver a 'certified' check so I could ship the items right away. This for a $150 headboard. I don't know if spam-bots generate them or if an actual person sends them, in any case they deserve the same attention as transfering secret Nigerian bank funds for a small "security deposit".
