Erlend, do yourself a favor and make the additional trip to Maui. Northern
California is great for people who live there or can drive in with their own
gear, or rent and drive. However, the weather is 'variable' that time of
year. Maui is warm, usually good wind, has more quality rental gear than
anywhere else in the world, the instructors are generally excellent, and
many more reasons to visit Maui. And it'll make your friends jealous.
If you go to Maui you will surely encounter many windsurfers there
vacationing from all areas of California. There is a reason for that.
Hi, maybe going to Maui is a good idea. I checked the flight prices
from California, and it wasn't too bad.
Can anybody recommend windsurfing resort in Maui? Preferably packages
with accomodation, gear rental and tuition.
