What you get is based on windspeeds most often encountered.
A shortboard, for planing in winds of 11-24mph, mostly 11-16, would
be something like a 105 liter freeride/slalom/freestyle/freewave board
which is easy for you to uphaul with sails from 5-7 meters.
Fat boyz need not apply, this is for sailor weights around 150lbs.
Keep your Equipe for lighter wind, from 7-18mph.
Your aluminum mast and old sails are lightweight, when combined
together, compared to the new stuff.
Board weight you can save 17lbs.
If you want ONE board for winds starting lighter than 11-17, then you
need bigger gear.
