One wonders why no one offered assistance until you realize that you almost
have to be on top of someone to see them on a big day.
Which sorta begs the question: is there room next to my VHF radio, dye pack,
powder bars, super-compact BC, cell phone, rope, sunscreen, desalinization
filter, condoms and multi-tool for a flare gun?!?
I've broken the tail off a board and was able to limp it in but took me 20
minutes or so just to get things balanced. Ended up tying my harness to a
dangling footstrap to do what the fin does - make the backend of the board
go slower than the front.
Good that your bud got back.
BTW, did you notice Crissy is going off again today - 21-28 right now.
