Find out the codec that is used for playing back the video. Go to its settings (or "properties") panel. It's probably some kind of checkbox in there.

For example, if you're using the old Windows Media Player...

Start -> Run... -> mplayer2

....you can find the codec settings while the video is playing back by choosing
