Looking for a methodology to measure the acoustic response
of new video production studio. I'm not interested in software
modeling whatsoever. There is a 80' drape which covers most
of three walls except when using the green screen. I've notices
significant slap echo when shooting in this mode.
The practical solution to slap echo is to not permit any two
reflective surfaces from facing each other. i.e. pull the drape
around so soften the wall(s) opposite the hard greenscreen.
There is no electronic "equalization" or "echo-canceling"
that would be effective in situations like this.
