I understand that Macs can read FAT32 drives. I'm on a pc. Can I put
clips for my editor on a FAT32 formatted external hard drive and
expect his mac to read it.
I understand about the 4GB limit.
Assuming his Mac has any recent vintage OSX (Tiger, Leopard) you will be
fine. Earlier Mac OS did not support direct mounting of FAT32 volumes.
