thanks to all of you that answered.

It's not that the client is being indecisive....I just wanted to be
able to give a suggestion.

As I've said, it's a marketing/psychological decision. And ultimately
the client will make the choice.

I've asked some women....answers included

"Definitely a woman. But not TOO good looking."

and...."Definitely a man. Don't you know that women don't like women?"

Thanks again, guys.

My wife, a PhD, did a little research in this area when she contracted
with a northern California County regarding their government TV
production.

Women tend to be hyper-critical of other women's clothing, hair, makeup,
etc., and may miss the message due to that.

They are much less likely to react similarly to a male. Now, you've got
to determine the male "type," which can be just as troublesome...

No trouble if they're a Ricardo Montalban or Fabio lookalike/soundalike.
Definitely need an accent.
Make sure a picture accompanies the opening credit. They (the women) will
def'ly pay closer attention.

Patrick Stewart-ish was not a bad suggestion, but ponytails really help.
Stewart is currently doing a gig in Brooklyn, NY. Let's hope he don't tawk
Brooklyn.
