Well you can add macrovision protction to a DVD when you author it, but
it's not very hack-proof and costs you more. My take on it is your
best bet is to have everyone pre-pay before you shoot or you edit, the
deal being if you don't get a minimum number of pre-paid orders, you
don't do the project and refund everyone their money. Perhaps with a
percent held back for your trouble. The other good alternative is to
price it so cheap nobody will other pirating it, or offering them a
"two disks for one price" that's actually just an inflated 1 for 1
price, bu they don't know it. The you just build the extra margin into
your initial budget.
