Pinnacle Equipment

Hello all I hope some pinnacle equipment expert can help me .
I have a pinnacle DV studio card and and pinnacle STudio version 9 software
installed on my pc it works great. No problem there.
But we have a lot of old analogue 8mm and VHS tape of our kids growing up
that are irreplacible.
I do have player for them but I would really like to edit them onto DVD.
I also have Pinnacle systems miro studio DC10 PLUS which is the old
analogue editing gear this also works great but is currently not installed
because it was in an old PC that isn't running any more.
I would like to install it into the new PC with my Digital pinnacle
equipment mentioned earlier.
You see the analogue gear can edit the anolgue tapes but it can't output to
DVD but tyhe digital cad can
My question is can I capture my analogue tapes with the old gear into my pc
then use the newer DVD studio software on the same files to output to DVD.
I hope this make sence.
