Thanks! I'll try it as you suggest...although I've been through these
menus many times already. Maybe I didn't do it in the correct order.
All I've been able to get is BOTH primary and secondary (TV video
monitor) simultaneously showing full-screen preview video OR both
monitors showing the Vegas window. I appreciate your help.
| Tried it. Does not work. All settings that send full-screen video to
| the "windows secondary display" (overlay display) also change the
| computer's primary display to full screen. Still not
| usable. Thanks anyway.
My result is a different from yours with Vegas Pro 8.0c. My primary display seems unaffected, and I can choose to ***adjust*** the window size exactly the same whether the secondary (preview) display is on or off. The primary display I personally choose and prefer is not full size, but rather only occupies about 80% of the primary LCD display. The other 20% has some widgets (clock, GMAIL), an JPEG/EXIF viewer window, etc. The secondary display has a full screen video preview.
I wonder why our set-ups behave differently and if there is any way to fix yours........ Perhaps posting this on the Vegas forum would be your best bet. There are a lot of really expert people there who know Vegas way better than me...
