DVI + HDMI adpter does go to TV if the TV has an HDMI connector (but you'd need analog cables for the audio).

I just installed a MSI ATI R4650 ($65 @ Newegg) in my HTPC
it can use an adapter that is supposed to add the audio to the
resultant HDMI. They are calling the tech, "Mazarine DVI".
It says "HDMI output with multi-channel (7.1) AC3 support,
enabling a plug-and-play cable-less solution." on the box.

Mine didn't come with the adapter, and I use SPDIF anyway,
but it looks like there is a way to do it without the analog cables.

Luck;
Ken

Nice. Thanks.
