Sony Vegas Problems - Again...



Here I go, again... All (that was important to me - the scene
splitting function still didn't work well, but HDVSplit took care
of that) seemed well with Sony Vegas Pro 8 with the new
(beta) .dll installed (no more red/black frames or crashes), but
I just tried saving five .m2t files as a single file (from one drive
to another, no recompression needed anywhere) using two
combinations of drives and four times I got a Windows
"vegas80.exe fault, program must close" message at 55%
completion (at 19 1/4 minutes) of the save of the 35 minute
video. This nonsense kinda makes me just want to throw the
whole works in the lake. I guess I will need to reinstall Ulead
VideoStudio to complete this project - and this is getting
quite ridiculous!
