Festivals

We will start filming festivals again this weekend.

We will film SIVO in Odoorn 2 until 3 of August, the biggest
folkloristic dance festival of Europe.

The next week we will film Folkwoods, 7 until 9 of August near
Eindhoven.

And then we will film Noorderzon-festival in Groningen for the third
time 21 until 31 of August.

Campingflight to Gideon, also know as Gideonfestival, will not be
filmed, due to the communication with the organisation. We are sorry
for the Groninger bands. Next time maybe?

SERVER

After three years of service our Poweredge server broke down. 3 of 6
SCSI disks failed. We had a RAID 5 setup but could not rebuild the
container or the website. We had all our hopes on the PHP and SQL
backup, but even the backup failed. What to do. Already five days
offline, and we still had no solution. Roos Rozendal, one of our
believers, bought a new server for us. So we had to rebuild the
website and PHP and SQL database. Manuel sacrificed some of holidays
to help reprogram the site. Thx. So were up and running again, this
time with four backups. We lost about 30.000 unieke visitors in the
webstats because webalizer stopped working on the 13 May and 13 July
the server RIP. So two months have gone.

About Fury magazine

FURY! goes beyond the conventional borders of the common rock and
metal magazines and not only writes about music, but -in a unique
manner- also about the lifestyle that is connected with it.With the
arrival of several louder styles of music, a rebellious culture came
into existence, which did not only express itself into music, but also
in lifestyle, which became a very important manner for musicians to
express themselves. This attitude was transmitted to the fans. This
‘lifestyle’ is, to this day, an expression in which fans can identify
themselves. FURY! focuses onto a wide rock and metal-audience in
several age categories, with a wide interest in rock and metal music,
lifestyle and related events. FURY! will pay a lot of attention to:
fashion, instruments, transport, studios, record labels, endorsements,
band coaching, booking agency’s, roadies, technicians, tattoos,
customized bikes & cars, background stories, artist-biographies and
hobbies. In this, FURY! distinguishes itself from other rock and metal
magazines.
