Thanks for the response.

I am converting to Quicktime as an intermediate step to prepare an
OnCue presentation (www.impatica.com). Everything is on a PC.

I think it is a converter problem; small files work but large
(actually medium) files don't. Two large files have the problem.

Perhaps you could start with a different source file, and see
if your output options and results would change ? Maybe
the converter has issues ?

Another question is, how much trouble will your Quicktime
viewing audience go to, to add components to Quicktime
so that what is inside the AVI container can be
recognized ? Maybe formats that will work within the AVI,
without augmentation, will be too big for distribution
via the web.
