Thanks Ken, Good to know that this setup should work ok, I feel better
knowing I wont have to spend a fortune to make it all work. For now
I'm just going to concentrate on Stock Clips, later I'll work on
projects. I'm fairly busy with Stock Photo and don't do Weddings or
Commercial so I will have time to perfect the Workflow. Hopefully Blu-
Ray will take off soon, Burners are available but I have not seen any
Authoring Software yet. In the meantime I'll just keep shooting,
Thanks,
Cheers, Joe
Check out Ulead's VideoStudio 11 Plus athttp://www.ulead.com/vs/runme.htm
You'll be pleasantly surprised at what it's capable of authoring and
burning.
Mike
The only thing I see questionable in the computer setup is the 2TB USB
external drives. For editing HD they are useless. You will more than
likely have some trouble with SATA2 drives under certain conditions.
SCSI drives would be better by far.
The Blackmagic Design Intensity Pro is only about $350US and works
with Adobe Premiere Pro http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/
