V V7: a way to show the current event file name?

It would be nice if the project media list would highlight the current
event where the cursor is on the timeline. Perhaps there is some
checkbox somewhere? It gets old having to continually right-click on
the event in the timeline and click properties to find out the name of
the file. I haven't found a way to get Vegas to constantly show this.
