Thanks a lot Sir,
Actually I first render the video to my Hard disk then build it into
Video DVD for my DVD-RW and if I or someone points out at a mistake
I
go back to the Premiere and correct the mistake then render the
whole
45 minutes of video again which is very frustrating excercise.
So what I want is to divide my video into 10 minute clips and render
each one to MPEG2 separately and finally using Nero Burning or the
like, export it as a video DVD. In this case will it be possible to
arrange the rendered clips where only one of the 10 minute clip has
been re-rendered , how?
I'll be grateful.
What are you using to Author the DVD?
What program is making the VIDEO_TS folder, with
.ifo, .bup and .vob files; that you have Nero burn as a
Video DVD?
What program are you using for any menus your DVD
will have?
It is in that program that you can easily use and replace
separate files as chapters and/or titles within your DVD.
Luck;
Ken
Thanks a lot Ken.now I understand.For making Video-TS folders I use
Nero 7or Pinnacle Studio 10 as my Adobe Encore is faulty.But what when
I re-render a clip (say after correcting a spelling mistake) out of
the whole movie? Do I need to re-designate the chapters or will the
program remember my old settings.
I guess you mean the Nero version 7 edition of NeroVision?
Can you use more than one clip to make your movie in your
authoring programs, you should be able to? It is easier if you
make each chapter of your movie a separate clip, and add them
to your DVD Authoring program project. Then you can change
and replace any of the clips and just run the project to make a
new corrected DVD.
Luck;
Ken
Dear Ken,
I tried rendering my movie in parts and made about 10 clips but when
I made menues , connected these clips to them and exported to DVD
format using Pinnacle 9 studio, there appeared a fraction of a second
pause between clips which is certainly not good. Also when I jump to
clips using menues, there appears a sound out of sync problem unless I
pause and resume the play, after which it comes to sync.
Any suggestions ? I'll be grateful
Perhaps someone familiar with Pinnacle 9 Studio can
advise you on how to make it work properly. I can just
say that a properly working DVD Authoring program
should not have such problems. You could wait until
you have your Adobe Encore working properly.
Luck;
Ken
