Camcorder to PC Format Problems (PAL/NTSC)

I have a Samsung VP-D362 camcorder which records in PAL format. I want
to transfer the video to my PC and save as an MPEG. When I connect the
camcorder to my PC, it plays back only in NTSC format (the bottom of
the picture is missing). I am using mainly Ulead VideoStudio 9, which
I set to PAL when during installation.

Basically, I need to change the video size from 320x240 to 320x288. I
have tried changing the VideoStudio settings but it still saves the
picture as 320x240.

I called Samsung but they said that they couldn't help me.

I have also tried other applications and they play back at 320x240 as
well, so it seems to be a problem with the camera settings.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.
