How to deinterlace capture card video?

Hi all,
I have this webcamserver running, capturing 3 videodevices with a PICO2000
capture card.
When I capture at 640 x 480, I get interlaced video. This looks awful, since
there is a lot of horizontal movement in the images (airport).
I use Active Webcam fom Pysoft to upload via FTP. I just pick the device in
that program en select which video input to use. There is no filter option
whatsoever.
Capturing at 320 x 240 is OK. Not interlaced, but I want higher resolution.
Can anyone help me out?
Best,
Marcel
