Is there a better way tp get avi's to dvd?
ConvertXtoDVD.
It will convert a 350 MB (42-min) XviD AVI to a VOB and make a menu in
25 minutes if you choose the DVD-5 option and medium resolution. The
quality is very good for 19" viewscreens.
I have tried just about every AVI to DVD converter out there and this
is the best thus far. Honorable mention goes to the latest version of
TotalVideoConverter. The rest are basically crap.

On another note I just tried converting season one of my favorite show " The Trailer Park Boys" to dvd with avi2dvd, it bitched a bit about the avi files having different frame rates (23 and 29 fps) but it seemed to join all 6 avi files ok and created the vob and iso files. But when I burned to to disk the first 1/2 hour episode was fine, the rest are so out of sync its a coaster for the most part.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to take these 6 avi files and convert them to dvd, the Pinnacle Studio I got with my ATI AIW card wont recognize the files but MM will, but its slower than a month of sundays - any other suggestions?
