I think just about any editing software (with the exception of the
"lite" edition of Cyberlink PowerDirector that came with my 1394 card)
should be able to do what I need, but the question is *how easily?*
Basically, I want to take pieces of footage of a singer lip-synching to
a CD, import the real CD track into the video editor, and then align
the lip-synched portions to the music. (There will be other "stuff"
filling in spaces-- I'm not expecting it to stay perfectly in synch for
more than a verse at a time or so). I'm guessing I'll need to easily
nudge them back and forth a frame at a time to make it look decent. Of
the inexpensive (~$100) software out there, any idea which one will be
the least difficult to accomplish this on?
Also, I've been using Adobe Audition (f.k.a. CoolEdit Pro) for many
years; will the audio interface on Premiere Elements be at all
familiar?
Thanks
Then perhaps Adobe Elements is what you would want. Download their tryout and take a look.
